Be involved in developing "Today's Girl into Tomorrows Woman"

To meet the demand for Girlguiding within Croydon, we need to add to the 400+ adults who currently work with us as volunteers or ambassadors.

We have a need for volunteers to help in the following ways;

• Helping within units
• Administrative support

There are opportunities for women to become uniformed Adult Leaders and non-uniformed Unit Helpers, in units throughout Croydon.

You might have relevant skills such as finance, bookkeeping and secretarial help. Ambassadors

Being an Ambassador in Girlguiding UK is a very exciting and positive role. Ambassadors are individuals not involved in Guiding but who have a positive view of Guiding and the role it plays in the development of young women and girls.

The role of the Ambassador is to:

• Find opportunities to talk about Guiding in situations where people would not normally hear about it.

• Speak positively about Guiding whenever they can.

• Promote Guiding through their networks.

• Support Guiding by attending events they are invited to

With the help of our Ambassadors we hope to achieve our vision to be recognised as the leading voluntary organisation for girls and young women.
